Morris U12-U14 Boys
Announcing the Morris Lions U12/U14 Boys Tackle Program
NEW Players Welcome!
The program is designed for players to learn and participate in full contact rugby. The U14’s and U12’s will be competing against other teams in the tri-state area. Whenever possible, these teams will travel together to the same venues. Morris Rugby is proud to continue our pioneering of youth contact rugby and our mission is to provide a fun and engaging experience for all.
To join the U12s, players cannot have turned 12 before September 1 of each year. To join the U14s, players cannot have turned 14 before September 1. Players that miss that cutoff are invited to join the U19s program.

Morris Rugby made it through the first phase of competition for the AIG Rugby Safety Awards 2014..… then hit the wall. We had only 32 megabits to create a fun, upbeat message. Our player profiles look mighty fine.
Sunday October 19th we will be holding a benefit to help one of our own! Morris rugby player Demi-Lee, a student at Morris Hills High School in Rockaway, is in need of critical chemotherapy treatment for CIDP (Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy), an immune disorder affecting the nervous system.
Practices will be held two nights each week from 6:00pm - 7:30pm at the Mennen Arena field. Once matches begin, practice sessions will drop down to one night each week. There is also a tentative Saturday scrimmage date set.
What can be better than 700 happy Morris Rugby Players and their families! Yes, that is what took place on Saturday July 26, 2014 at the Black River Fields in Chester, N.J. Morris Youth Rugby came together for the fastest game played in Morris County.
