Morris Rugby Football Club sponsors a Boys High School rugby program each spring, building upon the success of our town/recreation based youth programs.  If you haven’t tried playing rugby yet, now is the time!  The program is run as a full contact U19 and U15 program, with weekly games scheduled against other local high school and U15 programs.

The program is intended for high school and Middle School aged students, 13 to 18 yrs of age. Thirteen to fifteen year olds are encouraged to play in the U15 program. Training sessions are designed to develop the skills necessary to succeed at this exciting sport, focusing on fitness, running, kicking, passing and space strategy elements required to ensure a fundamental knowledge of the game.  It will also ensure players are properly prepared if they express interest in continuing their rugby playing careers into college and beyond.

Practices and games will be held in front of Mennen Arena, in Morristown, starting in early March, continuing until early June.  Practices will be held on Tues. and Thurs. evenings, 6:00 to 7:30 PM, with matches played either during the week or on Saturdays. USARFU Certified rugby coaches from the Morris Rugby Club make up the coaching staff.
